During your appointment at Saor Studio, we will wash your hair at the basin, apply the formula to the hair, let it process for 60-90 minutes, rinse and dry the hair, before straightening the hair with a flat iron. The heat from the iron activates the nanoparticles, allowing them to penetrate.

From beginning to end, the process will take at least 3 hours. The length of the treatment will vary depending on hair length, density etc.

We recommend using the BKT aftercare products (hydration shampoo, conditioner, mask and silk touch oil) as the ingredients marry together to make your hair feel that sense of freedom for longer.

After Nanoplasty, you should use hydrating products that are sulphate and paraben free. You should avoid using products that are too repairing/reconstructing on a regular basis (for example Olaplex/K18 etc). With our Nanoplasty treatment, your hair can stay straight for up to 8 months. This really depends on your hair type, how resistant your hair is etc. It is important to note that Nanoplasty has an accumulative effect so the more you get it done, the longer it will last and more effective the result will be.

Yes, absolutely. The brand of Nanoplasty that we use at Saor Studio is safe for all hair types. In fact, our treatment is purple in colour, so will tone blonde hair and take out brassiness/unwanted yellow tones.

Yes, you can. Some things to be aware of: since Nanoplasty and bleach sit on the same layer of the cuticle, we would recommend waiting at least 4 weeks post treatment for bleaching/foils. We find it works best when you get your bleach/foils done 4 weeks prior to your Nanoplasty treatment. Please make your hairdresser/colourist aware that you have got Nanoplasty done.

Yes, you can. We stock a leave-in spray that protects the hair from saltwater, chlorine and UV which is a perfect addition when on holidays.

After your Nanoplasty treatment, your hair routine should focus on hydration (hydrating shampoos/conditioners/masks). It is important to note that saltwater and chlorine can dry out hair, so you should rehydrate your hair after swimming.
